Free Ice-Cream Gift Tags

Jul 01 2011

Once again I find myself envious of the weather on the other side of the globe, my mind constantly drifting to thoughts of ice-cream, picnics in the park, summer dresses and warm yellow sunshine.

And so, out of a lust for warmer days, these Ice-Cream gift tags were conceived.

I'm in a much better mood just looking at the bright and cheery colours. I hope you enjoy them too!

Simply print out onto thick white card. Cut out, punch hole in the top and attach some twine or ribbon. Feel free to handwrite your own custom message in the space provided!

I accidentally stumbled to your website and its quite inspirational. thank you so much.

Could i ask a few questions?

    1. What paper did you print the tags on? normal cardstock?

    2. Did you print them out using inkjet or laser printer? cause normally if i print images out using inkjet printers, the colours doesn't come out so well. :(

thanks. its alright if you dont feel like answering my questions .. ehee :)

Hi Nina- sorry for the late response! Firstly, I go to a specialty paper stores to source my card stock- they generally have a variety for both laser and inkjet printers and for this project I've used one with a smooth finish. In terms of print quality- I find that it depends on the printer itself. I use a Canon Pixma MG6150. It's an inkjet and the results are beautiful. I find that laser printers have a lower tolerance for thicker stock so I personally prefer inkjets. Hope I've been helpful :)
